Cancelation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation leaves a hole in the therapists’ day that could have been filled by another client in need of services. Therefore, we require 36-hour notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Clients who provide less than 36 hours’ notice will be charged a “late cancellation fee” of $45 in order to schedule a future appointment
Late Booking Fee
If there is a personal emergency and a late cancellation is accepted, a “late booking fee” of $25 will be charged in order to schedule a future appointment. The decision to charge the “late booking fee” instead of the “late cancellation fee” is at the discretion of Soothing Rivers, LLC administrative staff.
No Show Fee
Clients who miss their appointment will be charged a “no show fee” equivalent to the full price of the scheduled service. This includes clients’ services in which the insurance was to have been billed: the appointment will revert back to a ‘Private Pay’ service.
Missed Appointment
Too many cancelled or missed appointments may lead to future massages already booked to be subject to cancellation and client put on the wait list, and the potential to only allow same day bookings. If the client continues to cancel or “no show” appointments, he/she may be unable to schedule future appointments.
Late Arrival
If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will automatically be cancelled and billed as a ‘No Show’. Clients arriving late may also have their treatment time shortened at therapist’s discretion.
